Elix Foundation is partnering with other organizations to protect native species and reduce the amound of invasive species that are driving some native species to extinction.

Invasive Species

  1. Florida Panther

    The Florida Panther is a critically endangered subspecies of the cougar.

    The manatee, particularly the Florida subspecies, faces threats from boat strikes, habitat loss, and cold stress.

  3. Key Deer

     

    (Odocoileus virginianus clavium)

    This small deer species is found only in the Florida Keys and is threatened by habitat loss and vehicle collisions.

  4. Sea Turtle
